Job Description:
Coperion is looking for an Engineer Project Manager to join our team in Salina, Kansas. As an Engineering Project Manager you will work with customers throughout the process to ensure their needs are met from after the point of sale to implementation. Youll work as a liaison with our customer representatives as their main point of contact for any changes that occur during the process. Strong time management, organization, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.

What youll do:
Interface with the Sales Department, Sales Representatives, vendors, and customers to develop system equipment proposals and secure system projects.
Develop process flow concepts with cost estimates and written proposals.
Responsible for technical and functional selection of equipment, ensuring it matches customers needs.
Post-sale responsible for the performance and financial success of each project.
Review design criteria and application information.
Serve as primary point-of-contact for duration of the project.
Direct, review, and coordinate designers, drafters, vendors, and others to ensure proper application, design, and cost control for the order.
Oversee and ensure job progress relevant to schedules from start to finish.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Milling Science, or related
Strong background in math
Preferences:
2+ years experience with material handling applications and projects
General understanding of dry bulk solid material properties such as flow and filtration
Familiar with a variety of customers processes such as baking, milling, compounding, extrusion, compounding resin, chemical production, mixing, and weighing.
Able to read and understand piping and instrument diagrams (PID) and concepts
AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
