KANSAS JUDICIAL BRANCH
NOTICE OF EMPLOYMENT


POSITION TITLE:Records Clerk II

LOCATION:Salina
GRADE, SALARY: Grade 11
$10.68 per hr. starting, includes State Employee Health Plan
$10.96 per hr. after 6 mo.
$11.80 per hr. after 1 yr.

JOB DUTIES:
Beginning level repetitive duties: Primary duties will be as a jury clerk working with jurors and the jury system software, answering phone calls from potential jurors, responsible for the jury calendar, completes statistical reporting, and enters cases and required data into the computer. Perform related work as required and any other duties as assigned by a supervisor. Work is performed in the office of the Saline County Clerk of the District Court.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate. Experience working with computers and various programs. Clerical work experience in an office where team work is used. Past work experience providing direct services to consumers or public.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Work experience in the legal field doing clerical work is preferred.
