Granite Fabricator / Countertop Installer
Creative Surfaces, located in Salina, Kansas (www.creative-surfaces.com), is well known for providing quality countertops fabricated in various stone or laminate surfaces. Creative Surfaces's designers and fabricators know how to bring a kitchen, bathroom, commercial space, or any room to life with a well-placed, custom-designed countertop. The equipment is quite an experience to see, let alone work on each day!
Expected Characteristics for the Position: Professional Mannerisms, Safety Minded, Quality Oriented, and Reliable.
Various Job Duties Include:
-The following experiences are great to have; however, this is also a company with Paid On-the-Job Training!
-Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints (in time with training!)
-Utilize various tools: table saw, planer, belt sander, chisels, etc.
-Opportunity to operate company box truck for job sites. If selected, you must have a valid driver's license.
-Physical Requirements - Be able to exert (lift/push/pull) 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently,
and 10 to 20 pounds constantly.
-Opportunity to complete Certification for Forklift Driver. Prior FL Operation is beneficial!
-Work schedule includes plant and job site environments.
-We're looking for a problem solver, a good communicator, someone who is organized in the work environment, and who can work solo or with others in a team environment.
-Granite Fabrication requires working in a wet environment. We provide boots and an apron!

Wages: Starting Wage of $16.00 / Hour + Production Incentive (Current $2.00 / regular hours)
Work Hours/Week: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
