Job Description:
Urgently Hiring:
DesignPlast, Inc, a design-build pneumatic handling equipment supplier/installer, working primarily in the plastics industry, located in Salina, KS, has an opening for an equipment detailer/draftsman.
Responsibilities:
Create fabrication, erection drawings and bill of materials for design-build material handling projects.
Work closely with project engineers and fabrication to interpret/resolve layout and/or design/detail issues.
Perform field measurements to translate into custom layouts and fabrications drawings as required. Minimal travel may be required.
Skills:
Pneumatic material handling system design or familiarity a plus but not required.
AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks experience.
Structural steel detailing experience a plus but not required.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated, organized, strong communication skills.
