We are currently looking for a OTR driver, some experience preferred, but willing to work with a new driver. Pay based on experience. Health and Dental Insurance, eligible for Simple IRA retirement plan after a year. Driver responsibilities Transporting finished goods over land to and from manufacturing plants. Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Experience with electronic equipment and software. Ability to travel regularly. No recent moving or driving violations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations. (traffic, weather, etc..) Willing to submit background/drug checks.
