Autobody Technician
Crossroads Collision is currently seeking a full time experienced Autobody Technician!
Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am 5:00pm with great benefits included!
Skills/requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid drivers license
Preferred body shop experience
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates and work orders.
Multitasking; adapt easily to fast paced environment
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to operate job specific equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to work with a safety conscious mind set
Essential Job Duties:
Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently listens and understands the plans for repair process
Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners and other hazardous materials.
Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Responsible for assisting in the general organization and maintenance of the shop
Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business

Physical Requirements:
Position is based in a normal shop environment. Frequent physical activity such as kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping and lifting above shoulders is a part of daily activity as well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting objects over 50 pounds. Crossroads Collision enforces the mandatory requirement to wear protective equipment.
