Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., a regional leader in sales of electrical goods and services through wholesale distribution, seeks a qualified individual for Regional Sales Manager. The RSM will assume responsibility for achieving company sales goals by directing the regional sales force to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability, and budgetary objectives. The role involves strategic planning, personnel management, marketing, training and coaching, negotiating, leveraging technology for efficiency and success, process improvement, and promoting the delivery of superior customer service. Regular regional travel and occasional out of state, multi-night travel is required. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills along with solid negotiation skills are critical. Must be able to lead team meetings, motivate employees, and handle multiple concurrent projects. Additionally, the RSM must have strong computer and time management skills, strong customer service skills, be adaptable to change, and should be analytical with strong active listening skills. Minimum of five years’ experience in the electrical industry with a sales background. The position will be based in the Kansas City market.
