Position summary:
Responsible for achieving company sales goals by directing the regional sales force to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability, and budgetary objectives.

• Role involves strategic planning, personnel management, marketing, training, and coaching, negotiating, leveraging technology for efficiency and success, process improvement, and promoting the delivery of superior customer service.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills along with solid negotiation skills are critical.
• Must be able to lead team meetings, motivate employees, and handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Additionally, the RSM must have strong computer and time management skills, strong customer service skills, be adaptable to change, and should be analytical with strong active listening skills.
• Regular regional travel and occasional out of state, multi-night travel is required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in the electrical industry with a sales background. The position will be based in the Kansas City market.
