Purpose and Essential Functions
This role is responsible to grow sales primarily within our Nutritional Solutions division by focusing on specific markets at all levels to increase the company's revenue and profitability, achieving budgeted sales volumes, profit objectives and optimizing the customer experience. Additional responsibilities may include providing support in our Bakery Solutions division. This position will primarily cover the eastern region of the U.S.
Understand the industry, market conditions, competitors, and competitive marketing information.
Aggressively pursue business growth within the assigned territory or region.
Assist in developing REPCO marketing and promotional materials to be included in trade publications, brochures, advertising campaigns, etc.
Work with team members to answer customer inquiries, questions and complaints in a professional manner while maintaining a productive working relationship.
Participate in new product development efforts.
Maintain working knowledge of all company products, availability, and pricing for communications with current and potential customers.
Prepare sales forecasts and communicate customer requirements.
Develop and implement territory or regional marketing plans.
Participate in trade shows, industry meeting and seminars.
Travel requirements up to 60% of work time within the United States and Canada.
Responsible for following all good manufacturing practices (GMPs), applicable HACCP principles, OSHA, and other laws and statutory regulations/guidelines as applicable.
Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements

Knowledge and Experience
Bachelors degree in Food or Bakery Science or other related field; or 5+ years food industry sales/management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated competence, organization, and ability to close sales.
Strong business acumen.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in related products, innovation, and development of opportunities with customers and prospects.
Sales experience in food, pharma, pet foods and/or related industries.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, CRMs, LinkedIn and Internet Search Activities.
Highly proficient with basic office equipment; personal PC, copy machine, fax machine, multi-line phone, smart phone etc.
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
Possess and maintain a passport.
