Job Title: Sales and Design Representative
Crestwood Design Center, a full service custom cabinetry design firm, is looking for design savvy, enthusiastic individuals who share our passion for beautiful spaces and exceptional customer service. Our Sales and Design Representatives assist retail customers and contractors with the planning, design, selection, and purchase of cabinetry, countertops, and accessories. You must be an effective networker, have excellent selling and closing skills. We prefer previous experience in sales, design, woodworking or related industries; however will train the right person. You must be able to work with a wide range of personality types and varied responsibilities. Our representatives work independently and with a team. Sales goals are based per individual with expected attainment. An applicant for this position must be proficient in use of computer and design/pricing software including: WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, 20-20, AutoCAD, and other basic computer programs.
In this position the sales associate is responsible for working with customers/contractors to create designs for custom new homes and remodel projects. They manage the full cycle of quoting, contracts, order, delivery, and installation. They help the customer select additional products such as countertops, tile, hardware, and appliances. They create detailed drawings and work with skilled craftsman in the production areas to produce beautiful products. Our Sales and Design Representatives focus on impeccable customer experiences and thoughtful, functional custom designs.
They make personal sales calls at customers’ homes or contractor jobsites on a regular basis. There is daily travel involved in sales calls and hours can include weekends and evenings based on customer needs. The ability to read and use a tape measure is a must.
