Job Description:
Shelter Supervisor
The Salina Rescue Mission is looking for full-time and part-time shelter supervisors to care for homeless men and others in the community who need assistance. This position is an excellent opportunity to let your light shine as you share God's love with others. You will have the opportunity to develop and foster trusting relationships as you work to provide an environment where our guests feel safe and cared for. While ministry is our desire, we also recognize there are professional responsibilities that come with providing shelter with a focus on recovery.
A good supervisor will need to be detail-oriented, a good communicator, and have a good working knowledge of computers. Training will be provided for all functions of this position.
Hourly wages are competitive, with the opportunity for a wage increase from personal and professional experience as well as additional pay for our overnight shift.
