Laser Picker
Weekend Shift: Friday through Sunday: 6:00am-6:30pm
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) including check off sheets, Job Safety Analysis sheets (JSA's), End User Procedural manuals (EUP's) determined by the Quality Management Systems standards of ISO 9001 and ensure employee adherence.
Works within a defined process to meet quality and time standards using existing work instructions.
Continually works to refine processes to improve quality and reduce cycle times.
Inspects parts using common tools such as caliper, micrometers, form gauges, and tape measure.
Picks finished parts off of laser.
Stacks, sorts and counts finished parts per work order.
Safely uses hand and power tools to detail parts.
Operates a forklift to move finished parts to next operation.
Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Communicates with leadership about process problems and solutions.
Performs duties of a laser operator to cover when needed.

No formal education or experience is required.

Ability to interpret a variety of instruction, either written or verbal, diagram or schedule.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a one-on-one and/or group setting.
Ability to count accurately, and calculate simple amounts.

Ability to multi-task in a high pace environment.
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize time and various projects.
Ability to work with confidential data including all Kasa and customer prints.
Attention to detail a must.
Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing production setting. It occasionally is exposed to movement of mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually loud/moderate.
Physical Demands
The position will require frequent standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing and lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. Occasionally, it may require sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and/or team lifting or moving up to 100 lbs.
