Technical Representative I
Salary Range:$18.0000 To 23.0000 Hourly

Job Purpose: A Technical Representative I is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing customer equipment in a shop or occasional field environment. Provides our customers technical presentations and instructions. Complete employer provided equipment training program.
Essential Functions
1.Perform service, maintenance, and repair problematic issues with machines in a shop or field environment, under the supervision of an experienced Technician.
2.Provide customer service with focus on operation, maintenance and repair of equipment under the supervision of an experienced Technician.
3.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Secures tools, materials and equipment at end of day.
4.Provides answers to customers by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding customer through corrective steps under the supervision of an experienced Technician.
5.Contributes to team effort by actively participating in team meetings.
6.Respond to technical service inquiries from customers in a timely fashion.
7.Maintains accurate customer information.
8.Responsible for assisting and performing equipment start-ups and provide training to crews and fleet services.
9.Assist with testing machines for issues that could arise.
10.Assist with final inspection of equipment once production is complete.
11.Responsible for entering data into ERP system accurately.
12.Demonstrate progress within the employer provided equipment training program.
Qualifications and Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. 1.A bachelors degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or a General Engineering Degree. A minimum of three to five years Manufacturing Engineering, or other related experience generally required.
2.High school diploma or equivalent.
3.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed information to co-workers, management, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
4.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
5.Ability to read and interpret documents such as job orders, procedure manuals, and schematics (blueprints).
6.Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
7.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.
8.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
9.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
10.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
11.Excellent mechanical aptitude
12.Ability to be visionary and see the entire process.
13.Ability to operate computers and computer software, including Microsoft Office products, SolidWorks, CAD, and MRP (Infor CSI).
14.Ability to use department equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, power tools, ladder/scaffold, overhead crane, telephone, computer, fax machine, and copy machine.
15.Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Additional Desired Skills
1.Being bilingual in Spanish and English is a highly preferred skill for this position.

1.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee must seldom lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. If lifting over 50 pounds employees should utilize a jib, overhead crane, or ask for assistance from other team members. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
2.The work environment is usually an indoor setting with frequent exposure to outside elements. The noise level in the work environment is frequently high. In addition other elements that an employee could be exposed to occasionally in this work environment are but not limited to; dust, dirt, fumes and odors, mechanical and electrical hazards, fire hazards, and an elevated workplace. This position requires infrequent travel, which may involve exposure to extreme weather elements.
