Job Purpose: Develop and manage the Master Production Plan to execute the flow of work for labor and materials used in the manufacturing of Road preservation equipment that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Essential Functions
1.Create and maintain weekly Production Schedule and slot schedule opening for communication to Sales.
2.Monitor and report plant Resource capacity constraints and availabilities.
3.Work with department supervisors and other personnel to asses progress to maintain and discuss needed changes to the production schedule.
4.Maintain equipment completion expectations by month.
5.Supervise Production Support personnel, including training and development; planning, assigning, and directing work; approving weekly timecards; appraising performance; inspecting work; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and coaching and counseling.
6.Report Job costs of labor, materials and expenses in connection with production units.
7.Compile and report on progress of work, inventory levels, costs and production problems.
8.Schedule and coordinate the flow of work within or between departments of Manufacturing and Assembly to expedite production.
9.Open and close top level work orders for equipment, R & D, and prototype builds.
10.Review and utilize Sales documents as submitted in CSI.
11.Review and validate Engineering structures are complete and accurate.
12.Effectively and professionally communicate with sales personnel and supporting departments on targeted order completions.
13.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
14.Contribute to team effort by actively participating in team meetings.

Additional Responsibilities
1.Identify issues with delayed parts and provide notifications to appropriate parties.
2.Tracking work orders.

1.Three to five years experience in a manufacturing environment.
2.High school diploma or equivalent.
3.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
5.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed information to co-workers, management, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
6.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
7.Ability to delegate responsibility.
8.Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
9.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.
10.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
11.Ability to work independently.
12.Ability to operate computer and computer software, to include Microsoft Office products and CSI (ERP).
13.Ability to use department equipment such as a telephone, computer, fax machine, and copy machine.
14.Ability to maintain confidentiality.

1.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee must seldom lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. If lifting over 50 pounds employees should utilize a jib, overhead crane, or ask for assistance from other team members. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
2.The work environment is usually an indoor setting with frequent exposure to outside elements. The noise level in the work environment is frequently high. In addition, other elements that an employee could be exposed to occasionally in this work environment are but not limited to; dust, dirt, fumes and odors, mechanical and electrical hazards, fire hazards, and an elevated workplace. This position requires infrequent travel, which may involve exposure to extreme weather elements.
