Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Senior Engineer demonstrates mastery in network design and implementation. Will possess strong knowledge in network industry standards for network infrastructure hardware and software systems. The Senior Engineer is responsible for network infrastructure standards and design. Will focus on network performance and improvement including the implementation of network hardware, software, policies and standard operating procedures. Will function as a mentor to IT staff.
◾POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
•Associates majoring in Information Technology or related field
Minimum Experience
•4 years of experience as a network engineer or related advanced I.T. role preferred
•Relevant certifications preferred
Required Registration/License/Certification
•Cisco Certified Network Associate
•Cisco Certified Network Professional (preferred)
