Job Description:
The Cedars, in McPherson, is looking for a full time R.N. Memory Care Coordinator. We have a large campus and need someone who is committed to excellence!
•Must possess, at a minimum, a current Nursing License in the State of Kansas from an accredited college or university.
•Experience in memory care hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility preferred.
•Prefer training experience in memory care, dementia, Alzheimer’s.
•Prefer experience with electronic medical records with a health care facility.
•Able to deal with frequent interruptions.
•Skills at dealing with emotional situations.
•Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Must have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
•Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours, lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
