Job Description:
Salem Home in Hillsboro is currently seeking a Director of Nursing to join their team. .
Primary Responsibilities are to ensure the provision of quality nursing care on a 24-hour basis to the residents of the Salem Home in accordance with Federal, State and Local standards and regulations. To work closely and cooperatively with the Nursing Home Administrator/CEO on a daily basis to ensure all aspects of the nursing department are in align with the vision of the facility. To participates in the Admission Team decision process with the Administrator (Financial) and Social Services (Psychosocial needs) to determine appropriateness of potential admissions. Develop a strong working relationship with local physicians, hospital discharge planners, and home. In the absence of the Nursing Home Administrator/CEO, the DON is responsible for the overall operations of the facility.
