Machine Design Engineer
Geoprobe® is looking for a Machine Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Salina, KS. We design, build, and test drill rigs for the environmental, geotechnical, exploration, and water well markets. This individual will be able to take a project from concept to completion and enjoy working around big iron (were not making small widgets). Our engineers enjoy getting out in the shop to test and refine projects typically spending less than 70% of their time working at their desk.
Successful candidates will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology with a strong technical base in 3D CAD, as well as engineering fundamentals. Additionally, this individual will be hands-on, have a strong desire to learn, and strong attention to detail and follow-through. No experience in the drilling industry is necessary. Experience with hydraulics and/or machine controls is a plus, but not a requirement.
