Technical Representative I

Job Purpose: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair customer equipment as necessary in a shop or field environment. Provide technical support to customers account managers and distributors. Goes on-site to provide technical presentations and instructions.
1.Provides answers to customers by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding customer through corrective steps.
2.Respond to technical service inquiries from customers in a timely fashion.
3.Improve customer information by writing and maintaining accurate information.
4.Responsible for assisting and performing equipment start-ups and provide training to crews and fleet services.
5.Perform service and maintenance and repair problematic issues with machines in a shop or field environment.
6.Provide customer service and relations with focus on operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
7.Assist with testing machines for issues that could arise.
8.Assist with final inspection of equipment once production is complete.
9.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Secures tools, materials and equipment at end of day.
10.Contributes to team effort by actively participating in team meetings.
1.Process parts orders as needed.

1.High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of one-year automotive mechanical, welding, electrical or other related experience generally required.
2.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed information to customers, coworkers and management.
3.Overnight domestic and international travel, including weekends required at least fifty (50) percent of the time.
4.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, coworkers and management.
5.Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, procedure manuals, blue prints, and job instructions.
6.Ability to write technical reports and documents.
7.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.
8.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
9.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
10.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
11.Ability to use common mechanic tools such as electric and air tools as well as ability to operate a forklift.
12.Knowledge of electrical and mechanical capabilities.
13.Ability to operate computer and computer software, to include Microsoft Office products and ERP system.
14.Ability to maintain confidentiality.
