Job Description:
M&M Tire & Auto is a small, family-owned tire and automotive repair shop that has been in business since 1996. In addition to tire sales and service, we specialize in automotive diagnostics and repair and offer custom exhaust systems, shock and strut replacement, tune-ups, brake repair and transmission replacement.
M&M Tire and Auto is currently seeking a Full-time Automotive Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Examine vehicles and confer with customers to determine malfunction and repairs desired
- Test, remove and replace parts as needed in a timely manner
- Communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns and diagnosis
- Examine tires and make determination if repair or replacement is needed
- Operate tire machines and balancers
- Maintain shop appearance
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Ability to perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn to effectively use company and diagnostic software-with training
- Strong communication skills
- Valid drivers license
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years experience or completion of a technical degree in related field
- ASE Certification desired
- Team oriented, customer-focused and capability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Self-motivated and dependable
