Job Description:
Crossroads Collision is currently seeking a full time, day shift auto detailer and paint shop assistant to join our team!
Monday through Friday 8:00am 5:00pm with great benefits included!
Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for performing a thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer for example cleaning, sanding and buffing vehicles
Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired areas
Responsible for assisting in the general organization and maintenance of the shop including emptying garbage cans, sweeping, etc.
Responsible for helping paint technicians prep for paint jobs as indicated by shop
Masking for painting vehicles
Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently listens and understands the plans for repair process
Works and communicates with others on the vehicle repair status
Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business
Skills/requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid drivers license
Preferred body shop experience
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates and work orders.
Multitasking; adapt easily to fast paced environment
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to operate job specific equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to work with a safety conscious mind set
Physical Requirements:
Position is based in a normal shop environment. Frequent physical activity such as kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping and lifting above shoulders is a part of daily activity as well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting objects over 50 pounds. Working environment consists of: exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust along with noise. Crossroads collisions enforces the mandatory requirement to wear protective equipment.
