Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Responsible to: Executive Director
Purpose: To provide administrative support to the Greater Salina Community Foundation
Date: January 2, 2018
1.Maintain and implement new paperless filing system for GSCF and its affiliate funds, including filing, copying and scanning
2.Assist with data entry and coding in database
3.Assist with mailings to donors, professional advisors, grant recipients, and others as needed
4.Attend and take minutes at all grants/scholarships committee meetings
5.Assist with Foundation phone calls in a courteous, helpful and respectful manner
6.Update websites as needed
7.Assist GSCF Executive Director and other Foundation staff with special projects or events as needed
1.Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently, manage time well, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
2.Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet packages.
3.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with others.
4.Must be a team player, be flexible and have superlative customer service skills.
5.Must have experience and advanced skill with Microsoft office suite. Experience with Word Press is a plus. GSCF will provide training on database system.
1.Some college preferred, but not required.
2.Ability to work 20-25 hours per week in an office setting
